Three surfs and three BBQs over Easter, two (surfs) of which were fairly pointless, one in a rubbish messy windswell and the other one the very small remainder of the good surf which was on a interesting looking forecast. The good surf then, by the time I got to the beach it was early evening and there were some nice sized waves coming through, big enough to catch your attention if caught inside whilst paddling out and big enough demand a bit of concentration on the drop. After 30 mins of moronic surfing I pulled myself together and caught some decent waves out of the small crowd that had formed.
Things were at their best as the sun set and two of us were left out sharing a peak. A final trip over the falls signalled it was time to get out!
