Following a work trip to Blyth I took the fun route home in the Leon.
Took the A69 out to Haydon Bridge then the 686 down to Alston then down to Middleton on Teesdale on the B6277 (probably the best road in England)
then over to Brough
and then down to Sedburgh
before M6 and home. Had a new 911 try to keep up in the pouring rain heading out of Alston but the Leon showed it a clean pair of heals. Driver caught me up in Middleton in traffic and the smile on his face obviously showed that he had enjoyed the run as much as I did.Leon was safe as houses in the very heavy weather, in fact it is probably more fun in wet conditions.
